And Chase Ultimate Rewards® top the list for getting the MOST discounted travel out of your points.
Why Chase points?
Have I mentioned how much I LOVE Chase points?! (let’s be honest…mostly because I just love affordable vacations so dang much)
We are ALWAYS looking for ways to earn more Chase points because they just go SO far when it comes to redeeming your points for discounted travel.
This is namely because of Chase’s unique and unmatched transfer partners. By learning how to maximize your points and transfer out to airline and hotel partners (with the BEST points in your pocket)- you are looking at 2-3x the amount of travel!
Chase Transfer Partners
Aer Lingus
Air Canada/Aeroplan
British Airways
Emirates (partnership is ending in October 2025)
Flying Blue (KLM/Air France)
**Hyatt
Iberia
IHG
**JetBlue
Marriott
Singapore Airlines
**Southwest®
**United
Virgin Atlantic
**The starred airlines/hotels are unique and exclusive transfer partners of ONLY Chase! (Chase being the only bank that transfers to JetBlue at a 1:1 ratio)
Hyatt is by far where I transfer my Chase points to the most. You can stay at a 5 star resort that goes for $1,000+ in cash for only 35-45,000 points a night. That same cost with say Marriott or IHG would cost you easily 100,000+ points/night!
And Chase is the ONLY type of flexible points that transfer to Hyatt!
Chase transfer partners continued
We also love Chase’s airline transfer partners- a fantastic variety of both domestic and international flight options. Although, at first glance some of these airlines might seem random- once you unlock the power of airline partners your ability to maximize your points for cheap flights explodes!
Example: Transfer your Chase points to Air France to book a Delta flight to Europe for SO many less miles than with Delta directly!
TLDR: The FLEXIBLE points that Chase offers and the unique and varied transfer partners make Chase Ultimate Rewards® the best points in travel.
How to earn more Chase points
There are so many ways to earn Chase points, however the easiest and FASTEST way to pad your stash is via big juicy new card welcome offers.
This card offers a large welcome offer (think 125k!!), and although a steep annual fee, the thousands of dollars in annual credits really help to offset that (at least for the first year!)
💳✨ Chase Freedom Flex
I call this an “EARNING” card, but not a “REDEEMING” card. The 5x points quarterly rotating categories are immensely value for earning points when you are not working on your next minimum spend.
BUSINESS CARDS
You are likely sitting on a goldmine of points for travel and qualify for business credit cards and don’t even realize.
Don’t have an official LLC or incorporated large business? No problem- you can apply for business credit cards as a sole proprietor.
Almost everyone I know is eligible for business cards in some capacity (no side hustle is too small!!) and they really are the secret sauce to EXPLODING your travel points stash. Read HERE to see if you’re eligible and how to apply as a sole proprietor.
The Ink Business Family of Cards
These are my FAVORITE cards for building our Chase points stash. Low annual fees, high pay off.
You can hold all 3 versions of this card (although I recommend only having two actively open at a time for highest approval odds
You can apply for EACH version with your SS# as a sole proprietor AND your EIN
You can earn the welcome bonus on these cards every 24months!
Always my recommendedstep #2 after you have the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card – $0 annual fee and 1.5% cash back on EVERY purchase.
This card is marketed as a cash back card but if you have the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card, you can turn that “cash back” into way more valuable POINTS!
Another solid no annual fee offer for adding to your stockpile of Chase points! The 5% cash back at office supply stores is a notable bonus multiplier on this one!
This card is marketed as a cash back card but if you have the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card, you can turn that “cash back” into way more valuable POINTS!

This version has a $95 annual fee, and typically higher welcome bonus, but allows you to transfer points out to airline/hotel partners with this card ALONE.

What are Chase points worth?
If you know how to maximize your Chase points for their FULL travel potential you could easily get 2-3x value out of them!
i.e. If maximized, 100,000 Chase points ≠ $1,000 in travel…but more like $2-3,000 worth of travel.
Check out HERE some actually amazing (realistic) way to use 100k Chase points for some dreamy family-friendly travel!
Other reasons I love Chase Ultimate Rewards®
On top of the outsize value you can get out of these transferrable points, there is also a slew of other reasons they top the list of best transferable points currency out there!
Generous Pooling Policies: Chase allows you to combine points with ANYONE in your household, across ANY card.
Points Boost: This new feature allows you to redeem your points in the Chase Travel℠ portal for up to 2x their value! Depending on the redemption, there can be some notable savings here!
Card Benefits: Chase offers some of the most robust built in travel and car rental insurance on the market! Or even the lost/damaged bag insurance! Card like the #1 Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card offer game changing protection already included with your card!
Bonus Category Multipliers: I love the 3x points on dining and online groceries the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card offers. Even the 5x points at office supply stores can be a HUGE earner for business owners with the Ink Business Cash® Credit Card
Bottom line- if I could only hold ONE type of points forever- without question, I’d pick Chase Ultimate Rewards®. You truly can never have enough of these points.
CHEERS! To more affordable travel with your favorite people!
