There is good, better, and BEST when it comes to the points you are earning for travel…
That Delta card you’ve been putting every purchase on for 10 years? NOT as valuable as you think.
The Costco card giving you a few hundreds of dollars in cash back every year? It is NOTTTTT it.
If you want to actually see significant savings on your family vacations, the BEST thing you can do is have valuable, FLEXIBLE points in your travel wallet.
And Chase Ultimate Rewards® tops the list for getting the MOST discounted travel out of your points.
Have I mentioned how much I LOVE Chase points?! (let’s be honest…mostly because I just love affordable vacations so dang much)
We are ALWAYS looking for ways to earn more Chase points because they just go SO far when it comes to redeeming your points for discounted travel.

**The starred airlines/hotels are unique and exclusive transfer partners of ONLY Chase! (Chase being the only bank that transfers to JetBlue at a 1:1 ratio)
Hyatt is by far where I transfer my Chase points to the most. You can stay at a 5 star resort that goes for $1,000+ in cash for only 35-45,000 points a night. That same cost with say Marriott or IHG would cost you easily 100,000+ points/night!
And Chase is the ONLY type of flexible points (besides BILT points) that transfer to Hyatt!
We also love Chase’s airline transfer partners- a fantastic variety of both domestic and international flight options. Although, at first glance some of these airlines might seem random- once you unlock the power of airline partners your ability to maximize your points for cheap flights explodes!
TLDR: The FLEXIBLE points that Chase offers and the unique and varied transfer partners make Chase Ultimate Rewards® the best points in travel.
There are so many ways to earn Chase points, however the easiest and FASTEST way to pad your stash is via big juicy new card welcome offers.
💳✨ Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card – #1 MUST-HAVE (with a new HIGHER 75K bonus!) travel rewards card. I always, ALWAYS recommending starting HERE for everyone.
💳✨ Chase Sapphire Reserve®– You can now earn the welcome bonus on the Sapphire AND the Reserve!! Although a steep annual fee, the thousands of dollars in annual credits really help to offset that (at least for the first year!)
💳✨ Chase Freedom Unlimited®– I call this an “EARNING” card, but not a “REDEEMING” card. The 1.5x points on ALL purchases make this a very valuable “catch all” card. Move these points over to your Sapphire homebase to transfer out to partners for big redemption value!
You are likely sitting on a gold mine of points for travel and qualify for business credit cards and don’t even realize.
Don’t have an official LLC or incorporated large business? No problem- you can apply for business credit cards as a sole proprietor.
Almost everyone I know is eligible for business cards in some capacity (no side hustle is too small!!) and they really are the secret sauce to EXPLODING your travel points stash.
🔗 Read HERE to see if you’re eligible and how to apply as a sole proprietor.
These are my FAVORITE cards for building our Chase points stash. Low annual fees, high pay off.
💳✨ Ink Business Unlimited® Credit Card
💳✨ Ink Business Cash® Credit Card
💳✨ Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card
💳✨ Sapphire Reserve for Business℠
***Only the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card, Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card, Chase Sapphire Reserve®, and Sapphire Reserve for Business℠ allow you transfer those precious Chase points to airline/hotel partners. So we always recommend using one of these cards as your “homebase” for all Chase points.
If you know how to maximize your Chase points for their FULL travel potential you could easily get 2-3x value out of them!
i.e. If maximized, 100,000 Chase points ≠ $1,000 in travel…but more like $2-3,000 worth of travel.
Check out HERE some actually amazing (realistic) way to use 100k Chase points for some dreamy family-friendly travel!

On top of the outsized value you can get out of these transferrable points, there are a slew of other reasons they top the list of best transferable points currency out there!
Bottom line- if I could only hold ONE type of points forever- without question, I’d pick Chase Ultimate Rewards®.
You truly can never have enough of these points.
CHEERS! To more affordable travel with your favorite people!
