Best Uses of Marriott 50k Night Certificates for Families
Once you’re a bit further in your points journey (my “START HERE” Blueprint to 1 Million Points is always square one), going after elevated offers on hotels cards can be a great way to earn your family some cheappppp nights for your next vacation.
Here’s exactly what you need to know about this offer with a side of YES PLEASE I’ll take some Marriott nights for nearly free 🙂

What’s the offer?
Free Marriott nights! Signing up for a Marriott card when it is elevated and comes with multiple Free Night Certificates is a great vacation saving strategy.
➡️ Hotel cards earn you FIXED points, so I ONLY recommend going for hotel offers when they are elevated!
**This offer only goes up to five free nights 1-2 times a year, so PAY ATTENTION when it does!
What do you need to know?
There are some important nuances to Marriott Certificates you need to understand!
➡️ Do some vacation research, have a PLAN for these points (75k Marriott points may not go as far as you think…however Marriott’s footprint is the LARGEST of any hotel brand)
➡️ 50k Free Night Certificates CAN be “topped off” with up to 25k additional Marriott points – this can really help stretch the value of your certificates!
➡️ Your Certificates expire 12 months after earning (Plan when you complete the minimum spend strategically!)
➡️ These certificates/points are not “combinable” – i.e. you cannot put them all together to be 250k points for one stay
➡️ The FNC’s do not have to be used together: Back to back on a 5 night stay, or 1 night at a time, etc- you choose!

The Marriott Bonvoy Boundless® Credit Card free night certificates are usable at any Marriott property that is up to 65,000 points/night (the 50k certificate + up to 15k “top off” points).
👉🏼 You’ll want to be sure to use the flexible date calendar especially with this one to nail down properties and nights that fit within that up to 75k range!

- Renaissance Aix-en-Provence Hotel (Southern France)
- W Algarve (Portugal with rooms that hold 4)
- Marriott’s Village d’ile-de-France (near Disneyland Paris)
- Le Geant, Courmayeur, Apartments (One Bedrooms with a kitchen near Chamonix)
- Hotel Schwarzschmied, a Member of Design Hotels ™ (in the Dolomites region of Italy!)
- The Westin Resort, Costa Navarino (Greece- they have a family room that holds 5!)
- Hotel Palacio De Santa Paula, Autograph Collection (Granada, Spain)

- Marriott Cancun, An All-Inclusive Resort (Just got fully renovated!)

- Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa (Double rooms include a pull-out chair sofa bed)
- Courtyard by Marriott Oahu North Shore (Oahu North Shore options on points are LIMITED)
- Residence Inn by Marriott Maui Wailea (Comfortably sleeps 5 -6 in a gorgeous area of Maui)
- Marriott’s Kauai Lagoons – Kalanipu’u (Availability is very tough to find- BUT 2 Bedroom units!)

- Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort & Spa (Never tire of the California Coast)
- VEA Newport Beach (We stayed here for 2 “decompression” days after Disneyland, recommend!)
- JW Marriott Orlando, Grande Lakes (Waterpark + shuttle to Disney World)
- The Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort (Easy beachfront domestic vacay)
- Walt Disney World Dolphin/Swan (ONLY on site Disney World properties bookable on points)
- TownePlace Suites by Marriott Whitefish Kalispell (near Glacier National Park)
- SpringHill Suites by Marriott Kalispell (near Glacier National Park)
- Coronado Island Marriott Resort & Spa (Perfect as a San Diego homebase on the water)

- Courtyard by Marriott Anaheim Theme Park Entrance (Closest to the Parks on Harbor Blvd)
- Fairfield by Marriott Anaheim Resort (Closest to the Parks on Harbor Blvd)
- Residence Inn by Marriott at Anaheim Resort/Convention Center (Walk to the parks!)
- The Westin Anaheim Resort (More spotty for the up to 65k nights but we LOVED this stay!)
