My hot take

If you can meet this minimum spend over 6 months and utilize some of those credits the first year to knock down that annual fee, I think this card is well worth the $795. It is very rare to be able to earn THIS many Chase points in one fail swoop, so the Sapphire Reserve for Business℠ is an amazing opportunity for a WHOLE lot of nearly free travel.

• I like that the Sapphire Reserve for Business℠ would NOT count against your 5/24 status and provides those two free guests into lounges as well…again not to mention 200k of our FAVORITE points!

• 200,000 Chase points for ONE hard pull on my credit is unmatched. I would need to sign up for THREE Ink cards to get that amount of points which would = 3 hard pulls. So THAT is valuable to me!

This is the new card I am most excited about and plan to apply for myself (just need to calculate those upcoming expenses over the next 6 months to make sure I can meet that $30k minimum spend responsibly!)

Whether this card is one I keep long term, I am not certain yet. I think I will utilize all the credits I can year one and THEN make a decision whether the perks provide enough value beyond that juicy 200k welcome offer!
